    I must admit that a few days later it no longer seems that upsetting, especially as a) Bradley beat Pitt and b) Rush is coming back.

    If anyone still cares (did anyone ever? is anyone still reading this blog?) Emily & I went 11-5 in round two, and so are, I believe, now 34-14 overall . . . though our odds of winning any pools are pretty long, since we picked KU to win it all.

    FUCK. For some reason this loss was one of the hardest losses for me to bear. I think the shock of last year, combinedwith the unexpected joy of this year gave me a sense of the magical about this team. It hurt. I am in mourning. FUCK! My god what a disater. I am so stunned I have only begun to approach what went wrong.
