Let's Go Flyers! and Bulls!

Some good news, of a sort, for KU alums: Miles and Langford's Ft Worth Flyers made the NBADL championship game. It'll be Saturday, against Albuquerque.
Here's some stand-out stats:
Keith Freeze: 11 points off 4-of-13 shooting.
Miles: 22 points off 7-of-15 shooting, 8-of-8 from the line, including "two free throws with 49 seconds left, his squad up by four. He followed that with a blocked shot," writes Gary Bedore for Not too bad at all.
Story here.

Let's hope some scouts are seeing this s**t.

In other news, the Bulls made the playoffs! Kirk had 17 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds. Story and highlights available here.

  1. Aaron and Keith get another title game. This time Carmelo won't be waiting for them. It bears mentioning that Keith was holding his own against 'Melo in that game before he was whistled for his 5th (bogus) foul.

Kirk and co., on the other hand, may be running into a buzzsaw in the first round--the Pistons.

Anyone know why the sidebar has disappeared down the page? or is is just on my screen?

  2. Actually, I kind of hope the scouts don't see 4 of 13 shooting.
