I can't believe you left out my favorite part of the transcript version of that remark:

I just wish instead of only "(laughter)" and "(applause)" there was the occasional "(exchange of quizzical glances") or "(eye roll)" . . .
Honestly, though, what that speech reminds me of is Jon Stewart's question the other day (after the chest-bumping commencement photos): if he hadn't f**ked everything up for seven years, would we love him?
