(Anything to add, Scott? Any words you want to eat?)

Lots of great lines in this game, esp. B-Rush (5-9 from three, 3 assists, 21 points), Russell (14 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 blocks), and the Sherron of old (18 points, 4 assists, 4 steals).

We're tied again with UT after they lost to tonight's KU opponent, Texas Tech, and we're back in the conversation for a number 1 seed. The problem is that we still have the second-toughest game on our schedule ahead of us -- Senior Day at College Station -- while Texas just has to hold serve in home games against Nebraska and OSU.

I had hoped we'd have locked things up by this point in the season and wouldn't have to worry about the A&M game, but it looks now like a must-win, in order to win the conference AND establish that we can beat top-tier teams in a hostile environment.

...but we'd better not look past Tech, either.

Nice screen grab, YHD.DGLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17254846037455114337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23024323.post-28837733716958939592008-03-03T10:47:00.000-06:002008-03-03T10:47:00.000-06:00I'm back, baby!Katz has an encouraging piece follo...I'm back, baby!

Katz has an encouraging piece following Saturday's triumph:

"Florida had to go through [adversity] last year to win the national championship," Self said. "Carolina has gone through it this season with injuries. Everybody that's really good in March has had to develop some type of team toughness. But we hadn't done that."

Until now.

"If we keep this up," Rush said, "we can go [to the Final Four]."

And from the AP:

"They played with a chip on their shoulders," said Beasley. "They played with a vengeance. They just came out and played relentlessly."Christopherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10870502689015550456noreply@blogger.com
